Smashing. I thought this was really poised and assured. You muster some standout short, clipped sentences. (As a bonus, I'm not very familiar with most of the USA, but now I've heard of and have looked up Fishkill.)
Great game, perfect for a twine!! The imagery was fantastic, I really felt like I was exploring the ruins of an old village. I also loved how you used that exploration as a sort of allegory for unexpected loss, or the many questions that arise from such an event that remain unanswered. Thanks for making it!
This was a really lovely short twine about loss and regret and moving on. I think the suspense of slowly learning what was happening was really well done, and I also liked a lot the bits of worldbuilding sprinkled here and there. It was just enough to be intriguing without getting in the way, and the main thing was already everything it needed to be.
I especially liked the ending, the final paragraphs. It's very well put-together for the length, no words wasted, and it made me feel very sad about lesbians so it accomplished its goal!
Thank you for making this, I had a great time reading.
